Booking, Payment, Cancellation and Travel Rules
These terms and conditions describe the general rules that apply when you buy a Bilal Travels bus ticket and when you travel on one of our coaches. They cover how a booking is created, how fares and charges are set, what happens if your plans change and how passengers are expected to behave on board. Ticketing for Bilal Travels services is handled by the SastaTicket booking service, and the specific conditions shown there at the moment of purchase form part of the contract between you and the operator. Please read both sets of conditions before you confirm a reservation, and contact us if anything is unclear.
These terms apply to all intercity passenger services operated under the Bilal Travels name, whether a ticket is bought online through the booking service, at a terminal counter or through an authorised agent. They also apply to the baggage you carry, to the use of onboard facilities and to any assistance you request from our staff. Where a special promotion, a group booking or a chartered service carries its own conditions, those particular conditions take precedence over the general rules set out here for the service they cover. Nothing in this document limits any right that cannot be excluded under the laws of Pakistan.
A booking is created when you complete the purchase flow on the booking service and receive a confirmation. The confirmation, whether printed or held on a phone, is the evidence that a seat has been reserved in your name. You are responsible for checking that the passenger name, the route, the departure date and the departure time shown on the confirmation are correct, and for telling the issuing channel immediately if they are not. Seats are sold subject to availability, and a reservation is not complete until payment has been accepted. Duplicate or conflicting bookings found on the same identity document may be cancelled, and the applicable refund rules will be applied.
Fares are calculated from the distance travelled, the category of coach and the date of travel, and the price shown by the booking service at the time of payment is the price that applies to that ticket. Promotional prices are offered for a limited period and may be withdrawn without notice. Payment is accepted through the methods listed on the payment screen, which normally include debit and credit cards and mobile wallets. Any service charge levied by the booking platform is shown separately before you approve the transaction. Where a fare has been paid by a method that later fails or is reversed, the ticket may be suspended until the amount is settled.
If your plans change you should contact the booking service or the operator as early as possible, because the value of a refund normally falls as the departure time approaches. A part of the fare is retained to cover administration and any seats that can no longer be resold, and the exact percentage depends on the ticket type and on how much notice you give. Refunds are returned through the same channel that was used for payment, and they can take several working days to appear. Before you rely on a refund, note the following:
Passengers should reach the departure point at least thirty minutes before the scheduled time, carry the ticket confirmation and be able to present a photo identity document if asked. A reasonable amount of luggage is carried in the hold and a small bag may be taken on board, while bulky, dangerous or unusually shaped items require prior agreement and may be refused. Smoking, alcohol and the use of narcotics are not permitted on any coach. Passengers are asked to respect the comfort of others by keeping noise and phone conversations low, especially on overnight departures, and to follow any instruction given by the crew for safety reasons. A passenger who seriously disrupts a journey may be asked to leave the coach, and no refund is due in that case.
Departure times and coach allocations can change because of traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical problems or demand, and we may need to combine or reschedule services when that is necessary. Where a journey is cancelled by the operator, passengers are offered a seat on an alternative departure or a refund in line with the conditions above. The operator's responsibility for baggage carried in the hold is limited, and valuables, electronics and important documents should therefore be kept with you. Passengers are responsible for arriving in time for a connection made on a separate ticket, since those tickets are treated as independent bookings.
If something goes wrong during a journey, ask the crew for help first, then write to the operator's helpline or the booking service with your ticket reference, the route and the date of travel so that the matter can be traced. Complaints are easier to resolve when they are raised promptly. These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in services, fares or regulations; the version published on this website at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.
